Attacker returns $40M to GMX after exploit
A major hack of GMX’s v1 contracts ended in a rare white-hat resolution. The attacker, who exploited a reentrancy bug to drain $40 million, opted to return the full sum after GMX offered a 10% bounty. Exploiter ethics? Maybe. Bounty economics? Definitely.
