Who is Satoshi?
And why doesn't anyone know who he is?
Satoshi Nakamoto is the name used by the person (or group of people) who created and shared the Bitcoin whitepaper.
Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency, so he’s kinda special. He’s famous, actually!
This name is a pseudonym though, which means it’s not the real name of the founder, it’s an alias used to hide his or her true identity.
Many people claim to be Satoshi, but none have shown enough evidence for the world to believe them. It stands to reason that if Sastoshi wanted to be anonymous in 2009, then they did it for a reason, and still desire to be behind that veil.
Nevertheless, Satoshi is a symbol of what Bitcoin stands for:
Privacy and Freedom
A few months ago, I started putting together tools and resources about privacy. I did it mostly for my own benefit, but I had a lightbulb moment that what I was learning and utilizing probably would be useful to my crypto-native audience.
That’s where BecomeSatoshi comes in.
I want to teach you how to disappear like Satoshi did.
Privacy is essential when it comes to your safety. Governments are growing stronger and tensions are rising. It’s predicted that the US won’t be at the top of the food chain much longer. There’s also very good evidence for it (An email for another time).
What happens when a centralized entity (like a government) is taken over by a party that thinks you’re the problem? Hopefully we’ll never have to find out…
But even if we step down from a government level threat, the amount of cyber attacks is skyrocketing. From medical data to banks, your personal information is next.
We all should have the privacy that Satoshi has.
Well, you can have it.
It starts with education. Tomorrow, I’m going to open the doors to the early version of BecomeSatoshi, a series of lessons designed to erase your digital identity so that you can essentially… disappear.
It’s kinda cliché, I know. However, these lessons will arm you with the defense needed for the coming years. (You’ll also learn offensive strategies, by the very nature of learning how to defend yourself.)
You’ll be able to secure your logins, see what information about you is leaked on the dark web, understand how to hide your cryptocurrency transactions, and a ton of other useful topics…
We’ll cover it all.
We’ll become Satoshi.

P.S. The last email from me (yesterday) was delivered in many promotional or junk folders. I highly recommend finding it and reading it!
